From StartMenu, right click on the App or Program and click Uninstall.

From Settings,  Start-> Settings -> System -> Apps & Features -> Click on App name -> Uninstall.

Step 1:

Click Start and Click Settings and click Network & Internet icon.

Step 2:

Click  Mobile Hotspot on the left side, and turn Off Share your Internet connection with other devices.

  7. Choose your Extension and click or tab Download and Click Run once downloaded.

  10. Now click Load Extension button and choose the folder where the Extension from store is downloaded and extracted.

To Remove the Extension from Microsoft Edge browser

  1. Open Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Click or Tab Menu button
  3. Click Extension to load your installed extensions.
  4. Click the Extension you want to remove.
  5. You can find the options of that Extension.

    Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Windows Update
  4. Double Click “Configure Automatic Updates” to open it.
  5. You can set Disabled to Disable Automatic Updates completely. Completely disabling is not recommended by Microsoft.
  6. You can have the other options with Enabled setting like,
    a) Notify for download and notify for install
    b) Auto download and notify for install
    c) Auto download and schedule the install
    d) Allow local admin to choose setting

By using these settings you can take control of your Data in Windows 10 Automatic Update. But don’t forget to check the Data Usage. It gives a clear view about which Apps consumes more data.

 

How to Remove Live Tiles from the Windows 10 Start menu

If you don’t like the new Windows 10 Tiles in the Start menu you can remove them one by one or all.

How to Set Access Time Limits Locally for an User Account in Windows 10

You can set Time limit for an User account in Windows 10. You can set the User can use computer on Particular Day and Particular time periods.

Open Command Prompt in Administrator mode.

This is the basic command for setting Time limit for a User account.

net user <useraccountname> /time:<day>, <time>

Replace <useraccountname> with your User account you want set Time limit.

Replace <day> with the day user can access. It can be full day format (Sunday) or short day format (Su, M, T, W, Th, F, Sa).

Replace <time> with the time range. (3pm-4pm).

 

Examples:
This sets user john to access the computer on sunday, from 9AM to 9PM.

net user john /time:Su,9am-9pm

This sets user donald to access the computer from monday to friday, from 9AM to 6PM.

net user donald /time:M-F, 9AM-6PM

This sets user gates to access the computer on specific days and specific times. Multiple time range can be specified using semicolon “;” .

net user gates /time:M,9AM-6PM; Sa,9AM-9PM;

If you want to remove all the time restrictions, type the following,

net user bill /time:all

  1. Open “PowerShell” by clicking startmenu and type “powershell” in the search box.
  2. Click “Windows Powershell” in the list.
  3. Powershell will be opened like colored command prompt.
  4. Type the following the powershell and press enter.
    Get-ItemProperty HKLM:\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\* | Select-Object DisplayName, DisplayVersion, Publisher, InstallDate | Format-Table –AutoSize
  5. It will show the list of All Installed programs on the computer.
  6. If you want to save this list to text file, simply type the following command just like doing in command prompt. Saving the screen output to text file by adding “> filename.txt” at the end of the command. Choose the file directory other than OS installed directory. It may not work with the OS installed directory due to write permissions.
    Get-ItemProperty HKLM:\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\* | Select-Object DisplayName, DisplayVersion, Publisher, InstallDate | Format-Table –AutoSize > d:\installedprograms.txt
  7.  Now the list of Installed Programs will be in text format in d:\installedprograms.txt file.

How to hide or remove “Get Windows 10” white icon from Notification Area in Taskbar

There are no hide options available with the “Get Windows 10” white windows logo icon. It will only show options like how to Get Windows 10, check your PC Compatibility for Windows 10 etc.

Follow these easy steps to hide/remove “Get Windows 10” white Windows logo icon.

  1. Open Control Panel. Click Windows Update.
  2. Click change setting, On the Important Updates section the option should not be “Install Updates automatically (Recommended)”.
  3. You may choose “Download Updates but let me choose whether to install them” or “Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them” option.
  4. Click Ok button to return back to Windows Update screen.
  5. Click “Installed Updates” which may found in the bottom left corner.
  6. Find the Update named “KB3035583”. It may look like “Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3035583)”.
  7. After selecting that update, click Uninstall.
  8. After uninstall it will ask for Restart. Click Restart now.
  9. After a while Windows will show you a “New update available” notification.
  10. Check the new update list for “KB3035583”.
  11. If found, right click on the update item and click Hide Update Option. Then only it will not come again.
  12. After hide, you may change the update setting to Automatic (refer 2 and 3).
